Addendum: Thanks to reader Dana for the link to this page at a website called Not Dark Yet, where the author ruminates a while on the occasions on which Dylan has sung this particular song (37 performances listed). Also provided there is another mp3 – this time of a performance in Anaheim, California on March 10th, 2000 (only the second time Dylan had done it). I’m putting a copy of that on my own server here for a little while. It has a subtly different feel, with short harmonica solos punctuating each third of the song. Very nice indeed.
