Tough terrier ...12:09 pm
A woman in the county of Northumberland, in the U.K., was walking her fourteen year-old terrier Freddie by the seaside when a sudden thick fog arose. She became separated from her dog and couldn’t find him. Friends assisted, but after hours of search there was no sign of old Freddie.
Meanwhile, three-quarters of a mile out in the North Sea, two fishermen thought they saw an otter swimming out against the tide. A closer look revealed it was no otter, but a dog.
Freddie was reunited with his owner, who expressed surprise that he ended up in the sea, as he has an aversion to getting wet at all. Put it down to a senior moment. See the full story and photos at this link.
Time for a picture of our own tough little terrier (who also hates getting wet in any way, curiously enough).
