For those who regularly read this site by going to the home page: From now on all posts will be truncated to a few words there, requiring an additional click (either on the title of the post or the “continue reading” link) in order to read the whole thing. This is due to my learning that search engines (i.e., “Google”) can interpret the way that this Wordpress blogging platform presents and archives posts as “duplicate content.” This can bring about a penalty in terms of the ranking in search results. By truncating the posts in this way, they will only appear in full in one place; that being the individual post page. So, just trying to stay within the law here. It seems to get harder and harder as time goes by.
