Bob Dylan: Going back to New York City ...9:58 am
Perhaps he’s had enough. The newly announced final show of Dylan’s current tour — which is taking him through Canada and parts north — will be in New York City on Friday, November 21st. According to the announcement at BobDylan.com, tickets will only be sold to those using a password obtained at that website, starting tomorrow at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. So, if you like, it’s exclusive to readers of BobDylan.com. The venue is interesting: the United Palace Theater at 175th and Broadway. According to the website it is a 3,293 seat venue, and a “jeweled treasure restored to its original magnificence.” Tickets will range from $225 to $650 — ONLY KIDDING! There don’t seem to any announced ticket prices at this point. Hopefully me and the missus will be able to swing it.
Dylan’s most recent show was in Calgary (Alberta, Canada) and the set list is at this link.
Here’s a clip just added to YouTube of Bob and the band doing The Levee’s Gonna Break from the recent show in Vancouver. Not the best quality, maybe, but it’s free.
