Bob Dylan’s 1997 song, Make You Feel My Love, has certainly been the most-covered latter day composition by the world’s favorite folk/rock/pop/protest songwriter. Versions have been recorded and released by Garth Brooks, Billy Joel, Trisha Yearwood, Neil Diamond, Luka Bloom, Bryan Ferry, Joan Osborne, Jeremy Irons(!?), Maria Muldaur, and others (source: allmusic.com).

Recently, a version making waves has been the one recorded by a young British singer named Adele. Below, from YouTube, is a live performance by her of the song at a concert in Brussels.

Now, Adele’s version is itself spawning YouTube amateurs (like this one) who are in effect covering Adele covering Dylan.

Meanwhile, if this other YouTube clip below is any guide, more people every day are perceiving that the kinds of promises of love that are contained in this song (“I could hold you for a million years”) can only actually be kept by that one who is known to keep all of His promises.
