More on Bob and Hank ...10:07 am
Just to comment on that last post, i.e. the story by Bob Wilson: I’d be pretty confident that Dylan would have preserved those Hank Williams-related items. Hank Williams is one of the very special people to Bob Dylan (and indeed Hank is one of the very special people in an entirely objective sense also, I would maintain).

The story told in that post would not be the first time that Bob Dylan has come into possession of some significant Hank Williams memorabilia. We heard over a year ago that he was in possession of something even more amazing and valuable: the lyrics to Hank Williams’ unfinished songs. I’ve heard nothing new lately about Dylan’s project to record them — involving numerous other songwriters and musicians — but it’s certainly something that I think many fans hope to hear more about in 2009. I would think that it’s likely to be the next official release with Bob Dylan’s name on it.
