Another side of Bob and more!

Well, today has been a sad ol’ lonesome day
Yeah, today has been a sad ol’ lonesome day
I’m just sittin’ here thinking
With my mind a million miles away

Al-Jazeera Approvingly Quotes a Jew ...5:05 pm

How does it feel?” Bob Dylan was right, we are on our own. So goes the headline in this piece on Al-Jazeera by someone named Jane Stillwater. Someone of that name has written for various Bush hating publications in the past, and now has apparently progressed naturally to writing on behalf of a foreign enemy of the United States.

After the failure of FEMA, the gift of billions of tax dollars to Halliburton and other Bush cronies, the criminal indictment of the Republican Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, the latest grim photos of torture in Iraq by so-called American troops and the appointment of the Bush bureaucracy’s very own voice-over guy John Roberts to the Supreme Court, something has been made perfectly clear to those of us Americans who still live, work, love, raise kids and try to be good citizens of our country — to those of us who don’t lie, steal, embezzle or break the law. To those of us who eschew hypocrisy and believe in the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule, the message has gone out loud and clear:

NO ONE CARES WHAT WE THINK.

It ends, richly, with the line: “Didn’t they tell that to the Jews in Nazi Germany too?”

Richly, of-course, since this article is printed by the Jew-hating Al-Jazeera, and the article is surrounded by Jew-hating links, such as the ones promoting the idea of an “Israeli Land-Grab Apartheid Wall;” that being a distorted reference to the barrier the Israelis have been constructing in order to try and prevent innocent women, children and men from being blown into bloody pieces by Islamic suicide bombers.

So doth the devil even quote Dylan for his ends. I could call it “Reason for this website # 1,038.” This is a little more evil, however, than the usual sloppy reference by a mainstream-media hack to Dylan’s “anti-Vietnam war songs,” or something of that ilk.

The message of Like A Rolling Stone, by extension, in this context?

Hate Bush and kill the Jews.

Hmmm. To quote Dylan from the No Direction Home interview, “I don’t think so.”
