Delmore Daughter ...3:29 pm
A daughter of one of the Delmore Brothers (Debby, daughter of Alton Delmore) keeps up a web site in honor of the musical duo, and there’s a simple but heartfelt piece she has on the site about the day she met Bob Dylan. Not sure when it was written (it was linked on Expecting Rain earlier this week).
Even more touching, actually, is her story “Daddy, Me & the Beatles.” Have a tissue handy for this one. I mean that in a good way.
