Madonna is drawing ire in Rome for her mock self-crucifixion-concert-shtick, complete with a crown of thorns. She’s smoothing things over today with a message through her spokeswoman, including this:
Madonna does not think Jesus would be mad at her, as his teaching of loving thy neighbor and tolerance is Madonna’s message as well.
Way to go, Madonna. Soothe the aggravated Christians by telling them that you know the mind of God.
