Early reviews of Modern Times have been emerging, appearing and leaking. Personally, I’m not going to read any detailed reviews of the album until I’ve heard it myself, and I’m not going to be referring to any of them here until after the official release on the 29th. That’s just the way I am.

I’ve accepted some ads for the new Twyla Tharp/Bob Dylan musical The Times They Are A-Changin’. RWB has been a booster of this project since the beginning, on general principles, so it was a no-brainer to take the ads in return for a modest recompense. When eventually I see the thing for myself on Broadway, as I intend, I’ll try not to let it affect my critical objectivity — but make of it what you will.
