RWB is proud to promote Troopathon 2009, which has as its goal the sending of “the largest ever shipment of care packages to our brave men and women of the armed forces serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay.” It is taking place under the auspices of Move America Forward (which “is a 501(C)3 organization, so all care package donations are tax deductible.”)

As part of the campaign, a friendly competition between bloggers has been instituted, with various teams of bloggers competing to raise the most for the cause. RWB is proud to be on the “Anti-Jihadist Team,” led of-course by that indefatigable anti-jihadist and super-Bob-Dylan-fan, Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch.

The entire campaign will culminate in a live webcast event on June 25th (just nine days away), broadcast from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and featuring such stars as President George H.W. Bush, President George W. Bush, the charming Jackie Mason, the smart and beautiful Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the debonair Rush Limbaugh, the brilliant General David Petraeus, the talented thespian Kelsey Grammer and the great Robert Spencer himself, along with many others.
