A Song on Sunday, Volume 3 ...8:55 am
For this, the third in an occasional series, we turn to a song of joy credited variously to “trad.,” William York, or Fred Rose. It’s called Hallelujah, I’m Ready To Go, and many’s the show that Dylan chose to launch with this tune in the years 1999 through 2002 - that is, when he didn’t use some other bluegrassy gospel number. This mp3 (here for a little while) is from Cardiff, Wales, in September of 2000.
