In recent gigs on his new tour, Dylan has been ending the main set with a revamped Summer Days (from 2001’s “Love and Theft”) and returning to the stage with Thunder On The Mountain, from his brand new album. I don’t say he’s making a statement, but I don’t know that there are many of his contemporaries who could bookend their encore with two new songs like that — and pretty much blow everyone away while doing so.
