Also in the NY Post, and causing speculation in other outlets, is a story which they title “Hill Baracking off.” The gist of it is that some people think that Hillary Clinton might be sitting out the 2008 presidential race, because Barack Obama has been sucking up all the air in the last two weeks — since the mid-term elections — and Hillary has been nowhere to be seen.

Nuts. Hillary ain’t giving up her dream of the White House, and she’s not going to roll over because Barack Obama or anyone else has gotten some fawning stories in the press. She is being quiet because she’s planning her next moves, and, believe me, none of it is going to be pretty. She’s in it to win, by any means necessary. The only way she would bow out is if she’s utterly convinced that she can’t win, and in December of 2006, we’re a long, long way from that determination.

Obama had better watch his barack.
