Iguanas and sea turtles say NO to global cooling movement ...3:32 pm
From the AP, in one of zillions of stories out there on the impact of the extreme cold afflicting the U.S. and many other parts of the world:
It was so cold in Florida, freezing iguanas were seen falling out of trees.
In coastal North Carolina, volunteers were scrambling to save endangered sea turtles that were stunned by the cold and stranded off the Outer Banks.
The headlines on Drudge are pointed and with good reason.
In so many places across the country and the world, this winter looks set to go down as one of the coldest and toughest in decades, costing economies in ways uncountable and incalculable, and costing many human beings their lives. In some parts, it’s already no contest as the worst winter in forty years, and it’s only January 6th. The question I hope everybody is asking themselves is this: “How much more am I willing or able to pay for electricity, gas, and ultimately for everything I buy, in the name of some outlandish attempt to make the world colder?”
