Ronald Griffin is the father of a U.S. soldier who died in Iraq in 2003. He recently made a personal trip to Iraq, and appeared on C-Span’s “Washington Journal” show this morning to tell his story. It’s very well worth watching, if you can catch it in a repeat or view it via their website.

I have a lot of trouble viewing video content on C-Span.org, but hopefully you’ll have better luck. You can try finding the clip at this link. (It’s the 4/4/2007 edition of the Washington Journal, the second hour.)

I ultimately was able to play it by opening my RealPlayer and copying and pasting this link: rtsp://video.c-span.org/project/iraq/iraq_wj040407_griffin.rm
… directly into the “File > Open” field. (That link gives you just the segment of the show featuring Griffin.)
