Below is a picture of Jupiter’s moon Ganymede, via NASA’s New Horizon probe.
I find this stuff endlessly amazing, even if “New Horizon” seems a somewhat wimpy name for the space probe. I preferred the old ones like “Pioneer” and “Voyager.” Is the naming of space probes another symptom of the West’s self-hating malaise? I smell a Mark Steyn column.
