The New York Post’s “Page Six” gossip column has this story today (picked up in turn by many other outlets):

KINDERGARTEN kids in ritzy L.A. suburb Calabasas have been coming home to their parents and talking about the “weird man” who keeps coming to their class to sing “scary” songs on his guitar. The “weird” one turns out to be Bob Dylan, whose grandson (Jakob Dylan’s son) attends the school. He’s been singing to the kindergarten class just for fun, but the kiddies have no idea they’re being serenaded by a musical legend - to them, he’s just Weird Guitar Guy.

Indeed.

I’m reminded of the story from 2004 of Dylan visiting the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, in Northern Ireland, where he played and gave out harmonicas to kids to whom he must have just seemed like some kind of famous cowboy. He had asked the hospital to keep his visit private, but someone took snaps and blabbed. Odds are good, I think, that he does that kind of thing a lot.

Addendum: Mike e-mails to wonder how Dylan can be doing gigs in Europe and playing to kindergarteners in Kallyfornya at the same time. Well, Page Six is gossip rather than news, after all, and never big on solid facts. I assume if the story’s true that it refers to events that occurred before Bob went on his current European tour.
